Factman,
I know you quite obviously don't think much of Greg Christopher, but I'd like to know HOW you know that the budgets of other sports have been cut in favor of FB, if, as you say, he has NOT released the information on this.

factman...you and I typically agree on things...but, c'mon...should a person really expect to get away with repeated alcohol related incidents on the job? I'm not trying to belittle Mr Sharp or downplay the great deal of good he did at the University...but I don't think he gave GC (who I know you dislike) or the administration much of a choice here.
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Brief bit on Sharp in Hackenberg's Blade column today. Basically saying he's a great guy and too bad about the circumstances. Nothing new but thought some Falcon fans might be interested in his take.

FYI - Joe was on the sideline (East, as least) at the Fri Nite Scrim. high five'in and hugging some of the guys.

Since a replacement hasn't been hired yet, I believe he was there to help Scott Jess who probably has very little football equipment experience. I am sure it was appreciated as Mr. Jess was putting in a 20+ hr day on Friday. I doubt the administration put any thought into that being a side effect of firing Sharpie when they did.

Joe did help (do his job) for the scrimmage. Joe took the high road when asked by Scott to assist, and chose to help the program and not grind axes. It is a testament to the man he is. Yes, he made mistakes, but despite all that's happened, his only love remains OUR FALCONS!

You may want to clean those reading glasses, skippy. People are talking about the AD not Clawson.

You're blind with hate and it's painfully obvious. Now go back to your impressive college stats class with those whopping 500 line data sets.

Glad to know that Sharpie was there. He and Glenn are the greatest equipment managers and I am glad to have worked for them.
