And at that moment, another pick.

We could give up 70 points today.

We could give up 500 yards rushing and 80 points. The fact is that we are undefeated in the MAC and in 1st place. Only thing I don't like is scheduling this game in the middle of conference play. Takes away from the momentum of the conference win last week.

Completely agree. Could not care less if we win or get blown out, but if we go into next week passive because of it then thats no good.

BG is in a no win situation. Pull Shilz now, and his confidence is gone as you head into MAC play. Leave him in and he sinks even lower, and the entire team sinks with him.

They got to find some form of a positive in this game or the next three games are going to be brutal.

Lets see what Clawson does in the second half.

I care about these games. Considering our last MAC title was about 20 years ago these are my favorite type of games. To look like a joke is extremely disappointing to me. I never expected to win but look at the stats. We gave up 419 yards and their running back who hadn't done much all season has 233 yards. Yikes.

Shilz continues to make boneheaded plays when things are not going our way. He is so careless.

Pack the bus. This is unexcusable. No coverage by the DB's, and don't give me the excuse they are young. They are making JR High mistakes . Learn to face the effing ball. And if you take away Jones the interior Dline is a joke.

Time to step up or fold. Lets see what we do.

I came to the conclusion that Oldballcoach is the father of Birdman

I am glad to inform you that you are dead wrong. Just a fan that has and will always call it like I see it. If you differ that is fine, as that is what a public forum is all about. But to think I will get on here and sugar coat what is going on , then you are sadly mistaken.

Care to tell me what I have stated so far about the game that is off base? Did I hurt your feelings , or say something about you son or your player?

Please tell me, as I would love to hear from you.

Oldballcoach, I agree with you. This has been a sad showing. Reminds me of high school games when one team is completely overmatched. Drink some beers it will make you feel better :)

One game doesn't make or break a season. All of your conclusions regarding BG football 2011 seem to be drawn on the last two hours of today. Just my $0.02.

Never said it makes or breaks a season. What I am saying is this showing today is a disaster. And , like it or not, it will have an effect on how the team plays the rest of the season. The MAC is what matters, that is a no brainer. But when a team goes out and plays like BG is playing today, well it is unacceptable. It is unacceptable to the players, coaches, and the fans.

If you and GMartin are ok with how the day is going, then so be it. But I come to expect more from a BG team .

I fully support the team and coaches, but doesn't mean I nor anybody else can't comment on how they perform.

Plus the constant comments over the past month. Not even going to waste my time mentioning. Not worth it.

Well you would never guess you support the team with 90% of your other posts. But that is just my opinion.
