I think the whole AFC North has drafted well.falconman wrote:Remember, we are more of a pass oriented offense where Central is more run oriented but can pass when they need to. Every year those two have started they have had a 1000 yd. rusher. I would much rather have a good run blocker and a marginal pass protecter in a NFL offense. In Marvin we trust.
p.s. I'm really liking the Bengals draft so far.

Good thing I got my bets in with golfer before Vegas took it off the board!BGFalcons232 wrote:there's a little WR run going on here in the 6th round. chad owens, tab perry, dante ridgeway and craig bragg have all gone this round. but i still don't see cole going this draft. and i'm starting to wonder if mruczowski won't slip into the 7th now.

Drew Bennett is not a stud? 80 catches 1247 yards 11 tds?Jacobs4Heisman wrote:curry and bennett aren't studs, gates isn't a wide receiver although he might as well be, and hines ward played a bunch of wr at georgia. FWIW for every curry and gates you get 10 woody dantzlers and eric crouches. I'm not saying Jones won't be a servicable something in the NFL. He's just not worthy of a number 1 pick. You can survive in the NFL if you excel at one thing. What does Jones excel at besides being big fast and strong like everyone else in the NFL? The only teams that should consider him are teams like philly, ne, and pittsburgh drafting for depth. If you need a wide receiver, draft one instead of a kid that everybody thinks might be kind of awesome at something he's never done before because he has good combine numbers. And golfer, my love for J5 aside, the browns may have the worst overall group of quarterbacks in the NFL. McCown is TERRIBLE, Dilfer is decent but has more than topped out as a qb, and josh is a project with reasonable potential.
Man. I want to see one of these stud Wideouts.
