Re: 2020 Recruiting Class
One of kids said he’ll sign on FRIDAY. Seems a bit odd. I’ve heard of kids waiting til later in day, even next day. But never heard of a TWO day gap.

Are you saying he’s an LOI to BG?

Re: 2020 Recruiting Class
The remaining three commits from Har-Ber in Arkansas all officially decommitted on Twitter today. No surprise here, but nothing was official. I thought Jay Burns (the RB) had a lot of potential, but it was pretty odd to have 4 commits from one school, anyway. Good luck to all of them moving forward.

Re: 2020 Recruiting Class
Additional late 2020 commit last night from Gabriel Brown, a 6'4" 290lbs OT from Michigan. Story on 247 points out that he just started playing football this season after being a baseball standout, but performed at an all-league level and was getting PWO offers from a bunch of P5 schools. He'll definitely be a red-shirt this season, but looks like it could be a great diamond in the rough kind of find for the long term.

Commitment this past weekend that I missed from Jaylen Lawson, LB, Lafayette High School in Lexington, KY. 6'1" 210lbs, first-team all area despite missing the last five games due to injury. Judging from his other offers, I would guess he's a PWO.

Re: 2020 Recruiting Class
BG picked up a big-time verbal from Billie Roberts. He'll probably turn out to be BG's highest rated recruit this year if he holds firm and signs on the 5th.
GO BG!!!
Re: 2020 Recruiting Class
Add Charles Rosser to the mix too. I thought we signed our allotment of guys in the early period. Anyone know how we're still trying to sign guys? Did the MAC/NCAA adjust the yearly limit allowed? If these last two guys sign, they are certainly not walk-on caliber.
GO BG!!!
Re: 2020 Recruiting Class
I assume some that signed early were actually PWOs, if not gray-shirts.

Re: 2020 Recruiting Class
What was the date on that Peters story?
I wonder if some of the guys that enrolled in January won't be counted backwards

It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
Re: 2020 Recruiting Class
Peters transferred to Illinois last offseason, where he started this year.
Peyton Ramsey from IU was someone I had thought BG might kick the tires on. He's from Ohio and had a BG offer out of HS.
Not that we necessarily need him, with that room actually having a few capable bodies for the first time in a while - but I saw that he had been recruited to BC by Loeffler and had a few solid offers, so I wondered if he would play on that relationship and try to bring him here.

Re: 2020 Recruiting Class
Looking at Roberts, most of his big offers were very early... wonder why no attention or takes after Junior season? BG May be only take offer? ...maybe His HS team mate signed here helped decision... time will tell.
It’s not my point of view, it’s a fact.
