I don't know how many of you have been following Robert Redd over in NFL Europe, but he has been playing well. Redd was shifted from WR to CB this year and has been used primary as a fifth DB. He has one INT on the season despite limited opportunities on defense. He has been playing primarily as their KR and PR. On kick returns he's averaging 25.1 yards and has a long of 48 yards. Anyways, for those of you that have NFL Network and want to see Redd in action, he and the Berlin Thunder will be on live this April 17th at 10am.

Also, I found this article of Robert. It's a nice read to catch up on Robert's career.

UK,

I think I get that NFL Network on my Dish Network. I'll have to pop in a tape and record that game this Monday.

Nice to find out we also now get Sports Time Ohio for the Tribe games. I'll tell ya, for about $60 a month, I get just about every sports channel out there plus the ability to get PPV. ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN News, ESPN Classic, ESPNU, Fox Sports Ohio, College Sports TV...ect. I love it!

I guess it kind of looks that way. I never really thought that much about this image. It obvious what the other two red spots are, but the other internal one could be feces or it could simply be an organ. Since it's a profile view, I would guess a kidney.

Yeah Freak. Isn't satellite TV just grand?

I get Directv so I can't help you out with a channel, but the NFL Network is channel 212 for those with Directv.

although for now STO is carrying only tribe games, this could be a nice venue for more mac exposure statewide. as the channel needs to expand its offerings, i wouldn't at all be surprised to see some mac football and hoops. and hopefully no poker.

No kidding -- I spent my tax refund on the MLB and NFL packages for Direct TV. I love being able to watch baseball pretty much all the time and I can't wait for the NFL season. I'm gonna tivo the Redd game and watch it when I get home. Satellite TV is where it's at.

Jaco,

I seem to remember reading an article that said STO and the MAC were discussing the possibilty of broadcasting MAC games. That would ROCK!!

UK,
It's channel 154 on Dish Network. Sweet. I don't see us ever going back to cable unless they let you choose the channels you want...a la carte.

Did anyone get the chance to see Redd in action yesterday? He had 62 yard kick return and an interception in Berlin's win. The next chance to see Redd will be Saturday at 1pm on NFL Network if anyone is interested.

Freak,

The President of STO was on 1470 yesterday. Apparently some DirecTV customers in the NW Ohio region are not able to get that channel. I'm in a similar situation with Time Warner Cable not able to get Fox Detroit.

Anyways, he was talking about how they wanted to be 24-7 by next baseball season and were hoping to at least have programming for all primetime & weekends even sooner than that. The president of the station is a Miami(OH) grad and they are definitely interested in picking up some MAC stuff. He said the football games were pretty much already taken up by Fox Ohio & ESPN, but they were hoping to add some stuff like coaches' shows, and coverage of other sports like baseball & basketball.

Obviously, it was all preliminary stuff, but he was definitely hoping to add some MAC coverage to the station. Of course it won't be just MAC stuff...he did say that they were in a deal to get some right to a lot of old OSU games as well to rebroadcast. It would be sweet to get some additional MAC coverage though.
