I figure this would be posted here anyway, so:

UT offensive line coach Mike Devlin has resigned and accepted the position of offensive line coach for the New York Jets in the NFL.

UT defensive line coach Randall McCray has resigned and accepted the position of safeties coach and recruiting coordinator at Rice University.


Amstutz has said that the search to replace them will begin immediately.



Devlin obviously got a huge promotion. McCray is from the South, plus this is probably a pay raise for him.

We replaced our last OL coach with Devlin and didn't seem to see a drop-off, but replacing another OL coach in the last few years is going to be tougher. I don't think replacing McCray will be too bad for us though.

A quick Google search for Dino finds that after a one year stint at Tuskegee in 04 Dino was on Ron Zook's first staff at Illinios and currently coaches the WR for the Illini.

You might not care, but I figured I had to post the facts before factman came over here and posted something like McCray going to Rice as a the waterboy and Devlin going to the Jets to hold Pennington's jock and that Amstutz was on his way to the Eagles because Philly is known as the fattest city in America.

Another riot has broken out in Toledo near Bancroft and Secor. Apparently a number of people are upset over a series of cartoons depicting Tom Amstutz eating healthy, low fat meals...
