Do you really think the MAC might boot someone like Buffalo because their football team sucks? If so, why haven't we done that to Ohio or Kent State already? Buffalo has good basketball (men's at least) and good soccer teams. You have to remember that the MAC is about more than just football.MACMAN wrote:Making us look the part of the fool.
If i were buf that would be one the last things I would be wanting to do.
the time could come when the sum of thier record, and actions earns them a Boot.

And its also more than just athletics. A Med school, Dental school, and several other big professional programs, nice research profile and being in the SUNY system make UatB very favorable in the MACrocketfootball wrote:Do you really think the MAC might boot someone like Buffalo because their football team sucks? When the WVU schedule was released recently, we heard rumblings about Buffalo trying to back out. If Ball State is added as the replacement, that might leave an opening on the Mountaineers schedule for 2007 as there is a WVU-BSU game listed.
Hopefully WVU does get a MAC replacement as the Wofford game probably the most pathetic on the schedule. The only good thing the Mountaineers got out of that game was the first NCAA action for RB Steve Slaton.
And the biggest hopefully of them all... I have a new job by then so I'm out of this hellhole and won't have to worry about covering that game.
