We all prefer BGSU going to the Motor City Bowl. In the event it is not the Falcons, would you attend the game anyway?

seeing as how its the clostest bowl to BG, where I will be at that point in time, I will probably go, depending if ppl go with me. Detroit is a hell hole that sint worth going to the game alone.

I would go if it weren't on a Monday like it will be this year. Only way I will go to it is if BG is in it. I went to see Toledo get blown out a couple years ago against BC.

I've been to a couple of other Motor City Bowls: Marshall-Mississippi and Marshall-Brigham Young.
I'll probably pass on the Motor City Bowl this year if Bowling Green doesn't make it. But who knows?

Around 50 bucks plus parking will only get me to go see a team I really like or at least a good bowl. No BG, no way.

If BG is in a bowl anywhere, I'll be there. It doesn't matter to me where they would play. I'm there, period. In terms of other MAC teams, I cheer and root for the MAC (minus TU, the Turd and UCF) but I would likley not attend another MAC schools bowl. I haven't up to this point, so I probably wouldn't start.

Being in the Band, that game would not be free for me unless BG was there. I support the other teams in the MAC because I want our conference to gain respect, but I will never attend a bowl game we don't play in...

I went to the Ut-Boston COllege game...
My friend's brother works for Ford and we get hooked up with a $17 package that includes tickets, soda, chips, and a hot dog. Pretty nifty. I also had such a good time last year at the Old Shileleee that I will enjoy going back.
During the BG-NIU game I noticed an add for the MACC and it said it will be presented by Ford, so maybe I 'll head to that one as well if there is a good package.

Look at it this way. If you don't go at least a few times when BG is not in the game then you have no right to complain about the MAC only getting two bowl bids.
Same thing goes for the MACC.
My buddies and I go almost every year and it is a perfect excuse to get away from the Mrs. and hit a strip bar on the way home

I can't justify travelling from Philly to Detroit a day or two after Christmas unless BG is involved.

I really didn't design the poll very well. But I think if there is a bowl, without Toledo or Marshall, I'd go, and wish more would. Even if BGSU were not in the game.
I went to two MCB's to see Marshall play, and had a good time. Heck, I even got thanks from a few Marshall fans for supporting their team after the first game.
Except for Toledo wetting its pants against BC, no MAC team has lost other than the first MCB.
I think if a bunch of us were to go, it would be fun. Going as a solo act isn't as appealing. Never mind the lousy scheduling time.

Nor would anyone expect you too...There are no MAC teams near Philly.

SF,
I have that Mar-Miss bowl on tape...that was one heck of a game!
I'd go if it was on the weekend even if BG wasn't in the game. Monday will be hard to do....

if miami doesn't make it i might go if it were an interesting matchup. however, would not go if the herdiban are in the game regardless of the opponent. living in motown makes it a little easier.
