Hey all, it's Josh. Just thought i'd give a quick update on the Harris family. First of all thanks to those that have kept us in their thoughts and prayers. We have most recently signed a one year deal with the NY Giants. Finally I feel like I may have found a match (keep your fingers crossed).
Anyway I was thinking about how I wanted to get in contact with as many BG Fans as possible and this came to mind. I still have my site up and the forums are still available, but I haven't had the chance to check them that often in the past several months. I plan on checking both my site (joshharrisqb.com) and this site regularly. Just trying to keep up with all of you and try to keep all the fans that are interested up to date on what's going on with us.
I may even get in some of the interesting debates that seem to go on. I will just try to stay out of trouble and be sure not to offend any of the current or past players and coaches

. Almost anything else is fair game
Again for those that haven't checked out my website check it out, and for those that have, but haven't been in a while check it out some more. There are some different things in the works for this summer that i'd like get everyone involved in. Thanks everyone, I'll be in touch...

Very happy for ya J5. You were the QB for the bulk of my years at BG, and I always loved watching you play. I'm sure everyone else here loved watching you play too. I actually just rewatched the gameday shellacking of NIU when they were ranked. That first half was one of the most beautiful displays of QB play I've ever seen.
Good luck with the G-men. We're all pulling for you.

Good luck with the Giants. That Eli guy is just hanging on to his brother's coattails. He's not that good.
Will you be playing in NFL Europe this spring?

Great to hear from you, Josh. I have to say that I was disappointed to hear that you wouldn't be playing for the Destroyers this year (for very selifish reasons). When they opened the season against the Rattlers I came upon the game and said "GAH! I could have seen Josh play!"
I hope all is well with you, Tami and the youngin'! I miss Tami stopping by with updates, but I suppose you'll do.
I actually have a request: please stay as involved with the BG football program as your schedule allows. It is very rare that someone with your character and ability comes through any college football program, and there are a lot of kids in our program that could benefit from your experience and example.
For now, though, show the Giants how we ROLL ALONG!!!

Josh- Thanks for stopping by. It was our pleasure to be fans in the stands for your college career. We are thrilled for you and hope this Giants thing works out well for you. I'm sure you are keeping in shape chasing that little one around.
Our best to you all. Go Falcons!

Congrats Josh on making it to the Giants. I was a year too late in watching to you play football. You did great though and I wish you the best with the Giants.

Congrats on the Giants' deal!! I was really looking forward to seeing you with the Destroyers here in Columbus, but you have to take your shot at the NFL when you get the shot.
I have only been around BG football since 1998, but the bulk of the great memories that I have come from games in which you excelled. The two-week span from Northwestern to Toledo in 2001 was absolutely awesome. NIU, UT, and the MCB in 2003 were pretty unreal as well.
Keep up the hard work! We all know that you deserve to be in the NFL.

I'll echo the sentiments of the others and say good luck. I was in school about the same time you were. I watched you from your time as a RB when Blackney pulled your redshirt off, all the way up to the bowl win in Detroit. Your play made the trip to West Lafayette one of the best football memories of my life.
Good Luck with the Giants, I'll be rooting for you as much as possible. As a huge Browns fan I was hoping you'd stick there, but obviously they wanted to go a different direction. Keep your head up and keep on working!

Hey Josh. I'm a Giants fan so you couldn't have picked a better team.
The Giants really are a good team for any young QB to hook up with. Having only Tim Hasselbeck and the Hefty Lefty behind Eli, there is a real shot to move up the depth chart. I wish you all the luck in the world in fulfilling your dream.

Ditto to that. Amazing day to be alive.
