I expected a lot of chatter the evening before a game, but it's been relatively silent around here.

Are all of the fair-weather fans losing interest already????
I think we could still win out....

Tons of my friends are saying we lost to NIU, the season is over. I'm about to start beating them with bats for saying that! The season has just begun. I don't care if NIU beat us, they still have to play a ton of teams that I think will come up with wins against some of the higher teams in the MAC. It is definitely not over yet and I'm hoping the fan support doesn't die down here...

An attitude adjustment is necessary!
The season is NOT over! A win here and then against Central shifts the momentum going into the homestretch!

Friday's are always quiet on here. Besides...no one can really get excited about a road game at Temple as most of us aren't going and you can't watch it anywhere.
That is why I think we are in trouble this weekend...but on the bright side, this game means nothing. We will only get a bowl game by winning the MAC West and a loss here does not change our chances one bit.

A loss here is unacceptable and [BEGIN VOICE FROM 'THE PRINCESS BRIDE'] inconceivable![END VOICE]
I know I'm hyped about this game more than most. It's going to be a great day - the Flag Falcons play in the morning, then on to The Linc!

Not much to talk about. No doubt we SHOULD WIN. But if our "D" plays like they did last week, will we win??
Marshall looks pretty good...we better get our "D" straightened out by then.

Agreed. But despite all the speculation on scenarios that could land us a bowl, we have to focus on one game at a time. Today, that means Temple. I'm banking on the Falcons coming out focused and steamrolling the Owls.

Maybe some of us are just busier than normal at work?? NAA that couldn't possibly be the reason!! Work on a Friday, thats just wrong

Yet here I am slaving away, oh well.

Man, I know I've been busier than normal today...haven't had as much to say.
Also this Temple game doesn't mean much to me. We should definitely beat this team, but if we don't it really is immaterial.
Although I do have to chime in on any thread that has a good "Princess Bride" reference

No where in your rambling incoherent response did you come close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. We are all dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

Yes. But if our D doesn't play any better we won't beat them, let alone Marshall.
