All I have to say is- I have never had so much fun in a locker room before!
The game day locker room was all teak lockers and beautiful carpet with a huge orange helmet in it.
Great food- Great attendance. Lots of pictures by the lockers. Still wish there was one that said Harris!
They took us on a tour through the stadium. Did you know there were pipes in the grass that keeo the field at a constant 68 degrees? I didn't either. Employees are NOT I repeat NOT allowed to set foot on the field or they are disposed of...or something.
AND here is the kicker. If you have enough money to have a reception there for your wedding or something........it costs $11,000 JUST TO TURN ON THE LIGHTS ON THE FIELD!!!!!!!!!
That freaked us all out (oops sorry freak).
I am off to the Hoops game- this is for you Falcon Fanatic! My report as asked.
Go FALCONS!

Almost 10 yrs. ago, my daughter's reception was the 2nd ever to be held at the Terrace Club at Jacobs Field..... my sister knew several members of the "upper office" staff for the Indians and asked how much it would cost to turn on the scoreboard with a "best wishes" type announcement. The answer? " $5,000!"..... end of my sister's idea to say the least.

Thanks for the report, AAF!!! I am just getting caught up on the other boards...haven't had time to read anything other than hockey for awhile! I would have LOVED to come to that reception. It had to have been a really, really neat experience!!! We went through Browns stadium right after it was finished. They had a public tour thing with people lined up forever to get in and see the new place. It was pretty neat, but we didn't get to go in the locker rooms or anything "inside" like you did. Thanks again for posting a report!!

I still have a selection of grass from that field in the sole of my marching band shoe that I took when we played there in 2001!!!!
I kept it there for every year I marched, and it is most likely still there...or the remnants are anyway!! That was like a dream come true....especially cause I had a close up on the jumbotron and everyone I knew there saw me!!
By the way....we won that game!!!
