Temple Game thread...

BG just had to straight completions that went for more than 5 yards...(23yds to pope and 15yds to sanders for a td) 7-3 BG. Way to switch it up a little and take advantage of our receivers.

It sounds like the defense is really flying to the ball so far. This is the first game that I have listened to Todd and JG on the radio. I think they sound pretty good.

The defense needs a good game...I agree that Todd and JG do a good job but wouldn't mind having Jason Jackson aboard.

I love the way we've come out of the gates and responded, even after the early turnover and falling behind 3-0. The just need to keep it going now, up 14-3. Keep scoring points and keep shutting them down on D.
GO BG!!!

The only thing is that we continue to shoot ourselves in the foot with penalties... so far two of them for 15 yds.

And as soon as we talk about D they throw a 63 yd pass...

I was on the phone when that play happened. Did Jelani get burnt again?

BG is running and throwing all over Temple. Do the Owls even have a defense? If they keep this up, I'm thinking 60 or 70 points for BG by the end of the game!

Score update: BG 21 - Temple 9

That's fine with me! I love running up the score and having a "nocturnal" defense makes it that much easier!

Schad...it's good to see you back posting again!

28-9 our passing is killing them...it's nice we decided to utilize Jacobs' arm and our receivers. Hopefully the coaching staff will continue this type of play calling the rest of the season.

I wish I could see the replay of that pass interference call. The radio people were cracking me up saying the ball wasn't even on the screen during the replay. Atleast Culp picked up the fumble!
