He is listed on the two deep at corner. Who is he and where is he from?

He's Elvis' kid.

EDIT: And apparently he's one of the prizes of the past recruiting class, according to CSTV:

http://www.cstv.com/tsx/current/m-footbl/bgu.html

"DB Jerett Sanderson, Long Branch, New Jersey -- This 6-foot, 180-pound product of Fork Union Military Academy is the prize of the class. The extra year of seasoning at Fork Union makes Sanderson a player who can have an immediate impact, and the Falcons can use help at the corners. He is already enrolled at Bowling Green. "We've already seen him in action a little bit in some winter conditioning, and he is really going to be a good player for us," Brandon said. "He has a chance to start, which is huge. He'll get a leg up, and getting his feet on the ground academically will help him as well.""

Whole Googling here:

Does the year at Fork Union have anything to do with that? It shouldn't, based on the "eligibility clock starts when you step on a college campus", but does a year of post-HS graduation football count against eligibility?

On the two-deep list, there are several errors in regard to class/eligibility.

M.Parks is listed as a redshirt Freshman but as a sophomore on the numerical roster.
Williams, Goodwin, Hargrove, Wiley, Cutler, and Goss have similar discrepancies.

This site also lists Matt Leininger as returning...and we know now that this isn't going to happen either....

Hmmmm....does this mean Deaudre Perry is listed incorrectly also.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

The year of post-HS graduation school/football does not count against his eligibility, but it does count against the normal 5 years the NCAA allows you to complete the 4 years of eligibility. Basically, it just counts as his redshirt year, meaning BG couldn't redshirt him this fall without cutting into his 4 playing years.

So the So/Fr listing is more or less correct, at least from a football point of view.

Dre Perry was on the 2 deep for this springs roster list , so I doubt that would be wrong.

That's kinda what I was figuring, and makes sense.

If you guys want to know the real scoop on any players just let me know and I'll fill you in. Jarrett Sanderson is legit. The only reason he is a backup right now is because he doesnt know the system yet. He will be a starter in the fall. He has much better athleticability than any of the other secondary. Antonio and him will be quite the combination for years to come.

From another thread, Brandon said Perry is back after some medical issues last year
