MAC Freshman of the Year to miss 2006 season

Post by doughash »

Looks like Tim Hiller, QB for Western Michigan will miss all of this coming season due to the knee injury he suffered in last year's final game. Former starter Ryan Cubit will replace him.

and on a more serious note, that's tough for WMU, Hiller was key to them turning things around last year mid-season... fortunately for them, they have a vet ready to step in and all of spring and summer for him to work. Unfortunately for them, Cubit was the reason Hiller needed to turn them around. Damned if ya do, damned if ya don't!

The entire team may be playing with more confidence around him, though. Hiller was a good player, no doubt. That has to hurt.
