My (Falcon) Pride and Joy!!

Post by ZiggyZoomba »

Finished up most of the Falcon room in my house this weekend. Got the furniture moved in and started to "accessorize." I still need to frame some things and get them up on the walls, but here's a photo of the corner of the room that is pretty indicatave of the room as a whole. Tasteful and SO very orange and brown!!

Image

FYI, the walls are "Rhumba Orange" the wainscott and trim are "Antique White" and the floor is "Brevity Brown," all from Sherwin-Williams.

very nice, G!

and that lava lamp can't come too soon. Even with the bobblehead and mini-helmet, it looks WAY too scholarly. and we can't have that now!!!

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

There ought to be a photo gallery where we can show off our memorabilia collections. I bet some folks on here have some pretty cool stuff.

I'll have to fire up the digital camera some time -- the goal of my apartment is to make you think you're in BG. The students here at Bluffton? -- They're just gonna have to deal! :D

That's a great idea...I've got an old pennant that shows Freddy in a "Bucky Badger" from Wisconson mode on my wall and a few wother items I've picked up along the way.

As hoops season rolls near, I'm going to scan in some stuff from some of the old media guides I've picked up along the way. The cover from 1978/1979 is damn funny....

Fantastic idea!! Everyone has the ability to upload to the "uploads" gallery. I'll move them to a new memorabilia gallery once we get a few up there...

Falcon rooms

Post by Class of 61 »

Guys,
Have to say I'm impressed with the varied looks of your Falcon stuff..had planned to repaint my office/bedroom in Orange+Brown etc., but my broken arm this summer has temporarily delayed the project.
No offense to anyone here, but you really need to get the Freak to post pix of his Falcon Lounge (my name for it)... have had the chance to enjoy Mike's (and Dana's) hospitality twice now...and this room is an ABSOLUTE SHRINE TO BGSU!!!
Mike, if you're reading this and I know you will, get some pix up so the rest of the AZZ crew can enjoy them. I sure did!!! 8)
Education our Challenge, Excellence our goal. (look it up)

Maybe Grant can invite all us AZZs over to his place and break in his new room!? I'm guessing that the Mrs. wouldn't be to kind to the idea.....but it does look very nice. Who said football fanatics can't decorate a room and can only destroy them?
GO BG!!!
