Are we playing Toledo at Ford Field?

What crap....we play 3/5 of our home games in Sept and we see our home once in Oct and once in Nov. We close out the schedule with our three toughest games all in a row. I guess you have to backload the schedule to make those midweek home games in November look successful, but it seems like we're taking one up the yoohoo to satisfy the MAC and ESPN.

This sucks....

I think ending the season with 6 out of 8 on the road is going to be tough on our young team. Hopefully we get out of the gates with some confidence and it can carry through to October/November. I hope we blow Eastern out in the first half on Homecoming because turning around against Central on the next Thursday night could be really tough if we don't.

Um... no.

And I love how ESPNU is considered "national television".

This sked flat out sucks...1 friggin home game in October. 4 games at the Doyt outta 12. :smt013 :smt076 Looks like @FIU, @CMU and @Temple are outta the question for us....at least the CMU game will be on ESPNU, which I get. And I'm happy for Karl and Noah since they get a chance to see BG in Philly.

From Sept 30 thru Nov 4, BG plays at the Doyt ONCE. :x And I am so tired of BG "helping" the MAC and ESPN.

Very disappointing, to say the least.

No, they just screwed up (a recurring theme) with the alignment when listing the MAC title game after the last regular-season game.

I guess the MAC scrapped the "play all MAC Nov games on Wed" plan?

That post very accurately summarizes my feelings about this schedule.

We have ONE freaking home game after 10/15, 32 DAYS LATER! If we're not having a good season at that point, how is this team going to keep the attention of any fans (except the die-hards) - what would the attendance be on 11/15?

Good news (on the field) is that we avoid NIU and WMU.

I pretty much announced this schedule a month ago.

http://www.ay-ziggy-zoomba.com/phpBB2/v ... ule#118557

9/2 WISCONSIN (@ Cleveland)
9/9 BUFFALO
9/16 @ Florida Intl
9/23 OWLS (Temple, Fla Atlantic, Rice, whoever, somebody nicknamed OWLS)
9/30 @ Ohio
10/7 @Ohio State
10/14 EASTERN MICHIGAN
10/21 @ Central Michigan
10/28 KENT
11/8 @ Akron
11/15 MIAMI
11/22 @ Toledo

I had the Temple and and Kent games switched and missed the exact dates on the CMU, Akron, and Toledo games, but had them all in the right order/week. Can I give myself one of these: :goodman:

I am sick of all the whining already. Last year we didn't play a home game until October and people pissed and moaned about that. Now we get "three" home games in September and people are pissed about that. What the heck do you want?

From an attendance per game perspective, we couldn't have gotten a better schedule. A home game with a Big Ten opponent. Two more home games in Sept when the weather shouldn't be a factor. Then a Homecoming game in Oct and our biggest rival in the East in Nov. What more do you people want?

I swear I did not write this post.

But I agree with it! Every single word!
