Spring Game

Post by da3mite »

I have never been to the spring game before, so I have two questions on the subject. First, do you have to pay to see the game? Second, are there autograph sessions after the game?

You don't have to pay, not sure about the autographs.

Are there going to be tailgating tents, like with the actual sponser, or is it just going to be car tailgating?

Just cars, but bring everything you would use at a regular tailgate anyway. :)

What did you just say? Did you say, Grant Cummings, that you make a better chili than me? Is that a challenge?

And perhaps you and I could sip some Whisky which is old enough to drink itself and toast some "what ifs".

Does anyone else ever have a tough time with this game... mentally? I mean, its always hard to cheer at the game. If the offense puts up 56 points, is it because the offense was that good, or because the D sucked that bad. It goes the other way too. What if the offense seems to be stalling?

OK, moral of the story is that I always had a great time at this game, and you will too. If I were only about 900 miles closer, I'd be there.

Let me remind you that even at the spring game drinking in the stadium is not permitted!!!

Also, if you are going to drink in the stadium do not sing the fight song!

Also if you friends are going to drink in the stadium and they are not 21 and they hand you their beer, dont take it!

Also if you are the one with the helmet and facepaint (ie stick out in the crowd) dont hold a beer

Also when the rent-a-cop busts you for drinking and makes you carry out all of the beer cans that two people could not have drunk under any circumstance, dont try to explain anything to him, he doesnt care!

Also, when the officer asks you if you have your car and can get home, dont be a smart ass and point out that he just busted you for drinking a huge quantity of beer (that you didnt actually drink) and then asked you to drive home!! Just drive home!!! Its better that way!!

For four years I managed to always find a line where I could not get kicked out of a game, and then at my last spring game, I got busted for something where I was probably the most innocent in the group!!
