In my euphoria over the Temple game, I forgot to post this little nugget, which I must say is priceless.

I was worried about the (real) Falcons' attitude when I woke up Saturday morning as our flag football team took the field. As usual, the kids got my mind on track pretty quickly.

As we lined up for opening kickoff, one of the kids on the other team said to his teammates - "Look, we're playing Tennessee today."

One of our kids yelled over "We're not Tennessee, we're BOWLING GREEN."

"Yeah," the kid responded. "We're Oklahoma and in real life, our team is number 2 in the nation."

Our kid didn't miss a beat. "Well in real life you guys are about to get beat."

We promptly returned the opening kick off for a TD.

I knew it was going to be a great day.

Great little story. It put a big smile on my face and got a chuckle out of me this morning. Thanks for sharing.

Also, I dont remember what it was, but something else your son said that I replied with "thats the best thing ive ever read ever". Well we have a new champion, b/c THAT is just plain awesome
