I know were doing a thread about CMU's Brian Kelly, but here is his comment on BG's program after the Kent game. He's saying all of the right things that coaches are supposed to say. He should be a really good coach for CMU. In fact, when I graduated from BG, I applied to Grand Valley State to teach and all anyone could talk about was how great Coach Kelly was. So, here's his comment and a little about him a GVSU.

"Bowling Green is clearly the type of team we want to be like, winning football games and appearing on ESPN."

Brian led the Lakers to NCAA Division II national championships in 2002 and 2003 after finishing second in 2001. His last three teams went 41-2 and featured a 32-game winning streak.

More quotes from Brian Kelly:

"We're playing a great football team, one which has climbed to the top of the MAC," said Kelly. "It's a place where we want to get and Gregg Brandon has done a great job with that program.

"We're excited about the opportunity of playing Bowling Green on Homecoming. If Bowling Green doesn't play well, we'll have a chance. We're going to have to play a lot better than we did in the Kent State win, though."

Wow, this guy seems like he's piling it on. But, I'm sure he means it.
