6 Touchdown (+1/2 PAT good)

Defense

1 Stop (missed FG)
2 4th Down Stop
2 Hold O to a FG after a sudden change in the Red Zone
3 3 and Out
3 Turnover
9 Turnover and Score

I think they had the scoreboard running last year and I can only assume that it will be used this year. They replayed the GMAC Bowl last year on the "big screen" before the game started.

So who is going to judge this competition?

And, more importantly, is it going to be weight mostly on style, flow, finesse, effortless movement, style and clarity according to the principles of proportion, unity, space, pattern structure, and phrasing?

Or are we looking at more of a technical scoring system? I'm thinking precision of foot placement, cleanness and sureness of steps and turns, power/energy and acceleration, mastery of multi-directional running, and the varied and/or intricate footwork, positions, movements and holds that link all elements together.

How much weight will the scoring system place on the involvement of players physically, emotionally and intellectually as they translate the intent of the coaches plays -- personally and creatively -- by executing quality of movement, precision in delivery and harmony of movement?

Will style and individuality/personality be considered?

How will grade of execution be calculated and weighted. Do we have a scale of value chart?

Will there be deductions for falling short on team concepts such unity, “oneness,” spatial awareness between players, field coverage, phrasing, form and the refined, artful manipulation of nuances?

The defense should get some extra points for knocking a guys helmet off. A bonus for the running back when he makes the juke and leaves the defense holding their jocks.

Can the fans add extra points for an exceptional end zone dance after a 60yd TD?

I don't really care how they score it. I want to see how the defensive line looks with Williams back at DT. I want to see if the Perry and Hargrove pairing at safety looks as good on the field as it does on paper. BTW, if Lewis pans out at CB, the starting secondary will be a real strength this year. I want to see if the current (pre Jackson and Fells) LB corps looks as bad on the field as it does on paper. So help me God, I'm very nervous about being in a postion to have a 17 year old kid walk in the August and beat out guys who have been in the program for a year or two.

I want to see how Dan Macon and Winovich look on offense. Can Freddie Barnes step in if Turner doesn't develop or succumbs to outside distractions?

Will somebody step up at WR? Corey Partridge was a factor as the "third" WR last year. Can he kick it up a notch and beocme the MAN this year? Will consistent playing time improve Ruiz' hands?

That's what I'll be looking at......

There was a story about the QBs in the Sentinel tonight. I don't have it in front of me, but Brandon basically said if Barnes isn't the starting QB, he will change position to get him on the field. "He won't be standing next to me on the sideline" is the quote, I believe.

Besides, before allowing me to drive home after haraassing about my alcoholism, the fine upstanding temp agency police officer, which was employed at the time by Bowling Green State University asked me to please comply by all regulations set forward by said university at all events in the future.

I beleive that the rest of you should respect the institution as well. Therefore toast to breaking the rules before actually doing so, and should you get caught you can plead the 'solich' and state that you were drugged!

Technically, NO. However, I think if you're a little more discreet about it than we were last year you could probably get away with it. Last year we filled our pockets, and when that ran out we made beer runs to Barneys and walked right into the stadium with 12 packs in our hands. Eventually we got caught, but we weren't exactly trying to hide it either.
