I haven't been up to date on the Temple situation...so is Temple going to be in the MAC this upcoming season? And if yes, which division?

Thanks

Not until 2007, when they enter the East Division.

Geez, with 13 teams in the MAC, what happens with the conference alignment? I understand BG was in the West division until this year when Marshall and UCF moved out, does this mean we will move back? I hope not, because playing the directional Michigan schools sucks. I'd much rather play Miami, Kent State, Akron, and the other Ohio based teams more often.

They'd better just leave BG the hell alone and let us be in the East, that's all I'll say. I hated seeing us go to the West in the first place, but after going from the East, to the West, then back to the East, they'd better just leave us alone from now on. I don't care if we add Maine to the MAC, they can go to the MAC West to balance things out....not us. It's no wonder people can't remember if BG is in the East or the West when they keep moving us around. They should have put UCF in the West from the get-go anyway, what's the difference if they were in the East or West, they were flying up from Orlando, Florida either way for crying out loud. Then UCF bolts the MAC and we gotta realign all over again. And it only affected BG and no other school had to jump sides like we've done twice already. I get touchy about this East/West subject if you can't tell. :)
GO BG!!!

Let's worry about realignment after this season. I hear there is still a decent chance that we may hear another expansion announcement before the summer is over.

BG will move back to the West. This will even out the two divisions when TU moves over to the little east conference.

That's not gonna happen, and if it does, the little east will have to take us too because we're toledo's rival, we're played just as well as they have the last 10 years, and its not like they are going to add somebody to get an odd number of teams. They'd have to find a 10th team, and we'd obviously be the first team they'd look at.

But toledo isn't going anywhere anyway, so what difference does it make?

Wasn't NIU dropped for not putting a competitive team on the field? They don't seem to be having too many issues these days...
