Somehow I doubt that Omar will effect the Pit-Cle series much. Cleveland is in trouble because Pittsburgh is a much better team still, but Omar has little to do with that. He'll probably never start a game in a Steeler uniform. He'll grow and maybe get some time as a backup and move one elsewhere if he shows some promise.

Bingo -- this smells an awful lot like the Vick/Schaub situation if Omar can develop.

That's exactly the situation I envisioned when I heard the pick...a good pick by Pittsburgh and a good situation for Omar. Unlike with J5 where I thought Baltimore was a terrible place to be, I think this is a great place for Omar.

i thnk cleveland will suprise some folks this year, i see the playoffs in the Browns future this year and super bowl game with in 4.
