Ohio State receives Bottom 10 votes

Post by BGorDeath »

Ohio State received votes in ESPN's Botton Ten for losing to Northwestern. It now seems all is right in my world.

No there is not. That is crap. They should be on the list, not waiting in line. Once again they probably threw some cash around to keep them from looking bad. YOU LOST TO NORTHWESTERN YOU ALREADY LOOK BAD!

I'm glad they are on the page, but they deserve to be on that list. WHen you break a 33 YEAR winning streak against one of the worst teams is not able to be understated. You are one of the weeks worst teams, if not the worst performing. Bottom 10 is where you belong.

To see their name anywhere near the bottom 10 is truly amazing. I'd love to see them on it, but I'll take them getting votes any day!

I like this. I am so sick of BG grads who cheer and like Ohio State more than BG. I snicker at there loss. My favorite T-Shirt is my BG one that says "Beat the Buckeyes" on the front and the big Falcon head on the back. I wore it to the Browns game on Sunday just to rub it in.

Actually the OSU band was at the Browns game and they do a real nice job. My friend who was in from DC was impressed with the dot the I script.

Uhh...it's a joke.

McMetz, don't you remember A-train's fumble ;) That was not so long ago either, my friend!

They won't even be mentioned next week...

Maybe it is a joke but if they keep playing like that they are going find themselves out of the top 25 real quick. They really haven't even played a good team yet.

When that happens all of the osu bozos will be calling for Tressel's head.

Well, this OSU fan isn't convinced they ARE a top 25 team. I thought sure they'd lose 2-3 games before Michigan, and they likely will. I thought they'd lose to NCSU, but they are so poorly coached that they wouldn't let that happen.

As for Tressel he bought himself 5 years of nobody caring what he does, IMO. Then again, I'm not the masses in c-bus either.

Yeah I expected a 8-4 type season from the Buckeyes. And man you are right, that guy from NCSU is total nimrod. He looks so stupid with those sunglasses too. They play like Miami Hurricane thugs minus the talent.

I actually think they'll beat UM at home...Tressel places a LOT of emphasis on that game, as well he should. But I think they'll be out of the Big10 & NC hunt by that time, so it'll be just a feel-good win, and not actually mean anything. They're too young across the board to beat good teams like Purdue on the road.

As for NCSU, they play like FSU thugs, not Miami thugs :) Amato is a product of Bowden. Since he got there he's pulled in talent that is beyond what NCSU should be getting and has continually done nothing with it. I've read many rumors of recruiting improprieties, but they are likely just sour grapes from other fans. Even still he obviously doesn't run a very tight ship on the field. He does look pretty awful in those glasses too.

I see OSU losing to Purdue, and probably split with Wisconsin & Iowa. That will put them with 3 losses going into UM, which I think they'll win on pure emotion and outcoaching Lloyd.

Growing up around C-town, anything that happens to the OSU sports teams causes a breaking news story. Maurice getting in trouble? Breaking news. OSU winning the national championship? Breaking news. Jim O'Brien leaving OSU? Breaking news. I won't go on, but you get the drift. I would bet $100 that when OSU lost to Northwestern, it was breaking news, even though it was well into the night.

Getting back on topic...you are probably right. And when it happens, it will be breaking news. And the reporters won't stop talking about it for weeks.

Glad I don't live near C-town anymore...

I think the best part of the whole thing is that all the osu fans i see are all PO'd at nugent for losing the game for them. Not realizing thta without him, how many game they would have lsot prior to this one, liek every game this year.....
