Local kid getting attention by ESPN

I was just searching www.espn.com and found a kid that I coach on their scout list for Ohio. It looks like he must be doing something right, went to the right camp or something. Elmwood is Division V out of VI divisions (six being the smallest), so for him to get attention is out of character for any scouts. I am going to work on getting film to these guys so that they can rate him. It'd be nice if BG offered him a scholarship, I'm not sure where he wants to go, but he is very passionate about football.

Here is a link...sorry about that!

Sweet man! I cannot remember seeing an Elmwood boy get any attention at all by recruiting services.

He is currently rated a 40, which is the lowest rating and giving to people that have not been evaluated yet and they have no info on him. My guess is that someone submitted his name and that is how he got on the list.

I e-mailed the guy and told him that I would send him film, we'll see if he gets back to me. He has been going to camps. Believe me when I say that the head coach does not mess around with these recruiting sites, so I'm sure he hasn't sent anything in. A 40 just means they are yet to see film or evaluate the guy...just about everybody is at that point right now. Believe me, Brown is an athlete.
