looks like getting those games back on Marshall just got a little tougher for the ForeHawks...

That's a shame. He's a heck of a player.

That should cost him a year of elgibility, as I think it is too late to be redshirted.

Nance has a year of eligibility left. He was redshirted as a freshman. Word is, he will return next year.

I would totally expect that. He *might* have had the chance to test the NFL waters with a huge year this year, but missing this year, he definitely needs that extra year to re-establish himself.

I read that he could have been a first round draft pick had he had another season like he did last season. That is too bad for that young man and I hope he has the chance to make a full comeback next season.

Does anyone know the specifics of the injury other than being a non-descript knee injury? Will surgery be required?

He has a torn ACL. Yes, we figured he would be making himself eligible (for the NFL) after this year, but now he will need that extra year. Thanks for your sentiments. He is a nice young man and we wish him a speedy recovery as well!

that young man is very talented. Ya never like to see injuries like this but they are part of the game.
Hope he heals well and is back on the field soon.

He was almost assured of being a first round pick this year. He was considered among the top 5 WRs that would be eligible for this year's draft, and there are always > 5 WRs taken in the first round. He is seen as a Randy Moss type guy, big & fast with good hands.
He will definitely need to go back next year and show that his knee has healed. I hope he had an insurance policy out on himself, that injury could've cost him millions. The difference in money, especially guaranteed, between going 15th overall and 45th overall is unfathomable.

I'm so out of it, I didn't even realize they had played Marshall, much less having lost the game.
