On reading the article I think I like the guy from WVU better. However the Purdue guy is interesting in that he comes from the MAC, educationally

I like Whit Babcock better. Not only is his name awesome, but the other guy's name is Greg Christopher.....and people with two first names really creep me out.

Noting that both have a strong development background....

And animals with two heads.

I would lean toward Babcock. But it seems odd that the undergrad degrees of the two finalists were kinesiology and mass communication . Not sure how that translates into running an athletic department. Must really be stressing the fund raising thing.

"....establishing the type of relationships you need to advance and lead an athletic program."
I like it.

I don't necessarily think your undergrad work has all that much to do with what you're good at.

They're both very young....
"(Christopher) earned a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from Miami (Ohio) University in 1988."
and
"(Babcock) earned his bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from JMU in 1992"
Personally, I think that's great!

I think Dakich is hoping for the guy that isn't from Purdue...

With both being so ingrained in development and fundraising, what does naming these 2 as finalists mean for Seeliger? Was that not his role at BG?
Both are awfully young...not sure how staff and coaches will feel being led by either of the candidates.
VERY clear what Dr. Ribeau was looking for after reading the bio of each.

If you think it was clear to Dr. Ribeau, you should also know the same criteria (on a slightly larger level) will be what the Board of Trustees will be looking for when Dr. Ribeau retires.

Both candidates sound impressive. I like the references to "annual giving" and the fundraising numbers. That is definitely a key for a school like BGSU.
Exciting times in Falcon Land!

So logically if I graduated AFTER that, that would mean I am very young too. Yay!!!

You graduated AFTER I did - so wouldn't that make you old?
