Who's going to Flordia International game in Miami 9/16

Post by irs »

We have 4 going - flying down for a long weekend. Any guesses on how many will we have there? We only had about 200 at the Boise game last year - mostly parents. However, at the game a couple of years ago in Tampa there were over 1000.

How many players are from Florida? My guess is the warm weather, player families and easy flight will get close to 1000 again this year.

I really want to go, but I'm not sure that I will be able to do it financially. I won't be able to make it to the Buffalo game or the OU game and I definitely don't want to miss 3 of the first 5 games. I would say that I'm about 50/50 right now. I need to get the bad memories of Florida in 2002 out of my head. We got blasted in Tampa by South Florida.

I can't make it to the FIU, CMU or Temple games this year. Those OSU tickets are breaking the bank.

Every other game is a go.

We are planning on going down for the whole week. I know I may not count because I am a parent, but I know of least 2 of us will be there hanging on the beach until game time.

We will have a nice contingent (20+ Currently) going to the FIU game. Of course, it is only a 2 1/2 hour drive for us! It would be GREAT to have a big tailgate party with BGSU fans before that game.

We have 12 coming up for the Whisky game.

We'll be there. Haven't decided if we'll ride the bike down as we did to Boise.

Actually going to save money so I can root on the women's hoopsters in Cancun in December.

Dave - when are you going to Cancun? We might have to meet at Champions Sports bar in the Cancun Marriott for a BG watch party if we make the GMAC bowl or other early bowl game just prior to X-mas. We're in Cancun/Maya from 12/16-12/22.
