MAC picks for October 9th

Post by BGSU33 »

Bowling Green over Central Michigan - BG keeps rolling! :supz:
Northern Illinois over Central Florida - But so does NIU.
Marshall over Ohio - Herd starts Thundering over much-improved Bobcats.
Toledo over Western Michigan - Toughest pick of the week, UT slips past WMU. :butthead:
Miami over Kent State - Roller-coaster ride going up this week for RedHawks.
Ball State over Eastern Michigan - Cardinals get past lowly EMU.
Akron over Buffalo - Frye finally shines, but a little too late for Zips.
GO BG!!!

What?!?!

No upsets at all this week. You got to give us one upset. How about Buffalo over Akron, or maybe Ohio to edge out Marshall. Both or either could happen this weekend.

I think OU has a shot. Didnt they do it last year too? or was it 2 years ago? They beat the "superior" turd squad form WV. I think they can do it again. This year actualyl means something, we all get to give the turd a fonf farewell in thier last season with us, before they move to CUSA with the UCF "we got bent over a table without lubrication by Buffalo" Golden Knights.

I would say Ohio and Western Michigan could pull the upsets if there are any this weekend. Ohio will be ready for Marshall, and for WMU, it all depends on what teams shows up for the Broncos. Some times they look very good, other times they look very bad.

Although if one upset were to happen, I would love for it to be UCF over NIU! For the first time ever, I'll be cheering for UCF this Saturday. After that, it'll stop.
GO BG!!!

My Picks:

BG over CMU (49 - 17) :D
NIU over UCF (52 - 10)
Marshall over Ohio (36 - 13)
Toledo over WM (21 - 17)
Kent State over Miami (21 - 20) - Shows how confident I am with this pick
EM over Ball State (42 - 21) Can Ball State stop anyone?
Buffalo over Akron (27 - 24) Why not? :duh:

Some good old fashion upsets would be great this weekend. As long as it's not BG. I think I would be much more excited about the MAC if it wasn't so predictable.
