Bigg 33 Replay on Tonight

My understanding is that a replay of last week's Big 33 Game (Ohio vs Pennsylvania) will be on Fox Sports Ohio tonight at 7:00 or 7:30.

I watched it live last week and was very impressed with BG QB signee Anthony Turner. I'd be interested in how other BG fans rate his performance. Another BG signee, Safety Nate Waldron also played a lot.

The MAC was well represented. Toledo, Miami, and Marshall also had signees in the game.

Turned it on just in time to see a bench clearing brawl!

Missed the brawl but it's the third quarter and I just saw Turner and it looks like he's good at escaping the rush and make smart decisions but this is after only watching four plays.

He is very mobile. Very good at throwing on the run.

All of the me me me celebrating is really pathetic. These kids have done nothing yet.

Go Falcons.

Thanks so much for stating that. JUST PLAY THE DAMN GAME!!! YOU AREN'T IN THE NFL!!!!! I believe they shouldn't interview these kids on the sidelines either. And how about that girl that kicked the 30 yr FG to win $75,000 schollie for Pitt?? She nailed that thing!

I got home from Josh's football practice and luckily my dad called to remind me it was on. He taped it as well so I can watch the first quarter I missed.

Turner looks fast, strong and accurate! I was very impressed. Nate Waldron made a couple nice plays.

IMO, that Gill headed to OSU was the best player on the field. His speed is downright frightening...although he decided to field a kickoff 8 yards deep in the end zone and bring it out.
But man can that kid F L Y....

36 days...GO FALCONS!!!

I didn't see the game, but I like what I'm hearing about Turner. I like the picture too. I was expecting someone smaller, but he definitely has Culpepper-esque build. That's a good thing.

That is Ted Ginn. He was USAToday Defensive player of the year and hand's down the #1 defensive recruit in the country. He is likened by everyone who has seen him play to Deion Sanders. Apparently he was a dominant WR in HS, before being moved to become a dominant QB in HS. Supposedly he can play either of those positions in college, if he wanted to, but he is a top notch, light's out, shut down corner prospect more than anything. Obviously the Bucknuts people are drooling over him big time. The Buckeye fan in me is excited to see this kid play. Hopefully we'll get to watch him getting burnt by Sharon in the national title game next year? :)

I don't want to turn the thread into a Ginn thread, but that statement is right on as he was at one time going through the training & work to get through the olympic trials in one of the hurdle events. I think like 110m Hurdles or something like that.

He has world class speed no doubt.

Ginn is a given. What has encouraged me was reading some things that people had said about Anthony Turner. There were comments on Bucknuts & Grassy (Miami(FL)'s site) about Turner looking like a pretty good player in his limited action. It was kind of disappointing that he only threw 7 passes, but looking at the others on his team, it was understandable. They were much more highly touted, but from all accounts they didn't really outshine him any.
