The Giants can lick my......

I wish that some team would give him long enough to actually develop and show what he can do.
What's worse, I look at some of the QB's that still have a job (even if only on a practice squad), and I know that J5 is better.
What's even worse, they keep bragging about how great Eli is. The boy had the worst QB rating of any QB leading his team into the playoffs. (see: the Chicago Bears last year; and you'll see why that stat actually means something).
I hope the Giants lose every game, because they waived the only reason I wanted them to do anything.
Okay, I'm better now. Carry on.
Go Falcons!

It's looking more and more like Josh just isn't going to get a chance to be an NFL quarterback. Sad

I'd love to see him come back and help Turner develop.

he should have stayed in columbus to play arena so he actually could have gotten playing time. Think about it, he hasn't played in a meaningful game in almost 3 years.

He should have gone to NFL Europe.

Agree. I know he didn't want to leage LuvMy5 and the new baby, but he needed to do that for his vareer advancement. Let's hope something good happens!

He "needed" to do what was best for his family. Being a half a world away from his wife and kid, or even moving them with him to Europe for some unknown length of time, probably isn't what he "needed" to do.
p.s. I'm not suggesting that transfer was advocating (or not advocating) such a move.

I think what he was trying to say is that going to Europe would have been the best thing for his career in football (if no other factors were thrown in), but not necessarily the best thing for his life. I tend to agree with that opinion. Arena League and NFL Europe would have been great, but other things were obviously more important, as they should be.
I hope Josh gets another shot at the NFL, but I fear that he is destined for the Arena League (which may not be a bad thing). I think the Destroyers still own his rights in the AFL and they have an aging QB. Maybe a year of learning the Arena game and Josh could start for the Destroyers in 2008.

Going to Europe would have been the best thing for both his career and his family, they are one in the same. Luvmy5 could have went with him, players have wives. Europe has doctors.
Harris would have had more time behind center, more time running a team and more time for other teams to see his ability. Maybe a few flashy plays gets him a shot to play RB....I don't know. But a summer in Europe, where your baby may even get dual citizenship, for a few more million sounds smart to me. Every QB in his situation should go to Europe. It is hard to prove you can play when you get a handful of snaps a week in practice.
The reality is he should probably go there now if given the chance. Arena league will always be there.

I'm glad you're in a position to tell a grown man what's best for his family.

I am a grown man my self, and I am not telling him, I am providing my opinion.
He would have and would still, give himself a better chance to provide fro said family by going to Europe.
