I think this went up sometime today http://bgsufalcons.cstv.com/sports/m-fo ... 06aad.html

Interesting way to sell season tickets. I guess you have to use your assets, especially with our home schedule.

I still need to buy tickets for this game... am I essentially screwed if I want 4 or 5 tickets together for this game and am not a season ticket holder?

Good marketing move.

Now an anal-retentive rant.

"Beginning Monday, July 10, 2006 at 9am EST, the first 250 people . . ."

Do people in the sports information office know the difference between Standard Time and Daylight Savings Time. STANDARD TIME IS IN THE WINTER!

So are they telling people not to call until 10:00AM EDT which would be the same as 9:00 EST?

This bugs me as much as "could care less" bugs Grant.

Sorry, feel free to go about your business now.

you know what bugs me? (other than the time change), the poll question on BGSU site... it says "Which football game at Perry Stadium in 2006 are you most eagerly looking forward to attending?" You know what the #2 vote getter is? it's "I'm planning to attend all four - 37.9%" That's great you plan on attending all four...that doesnt answer the question though...which of the four are you looking forward to the most? That doesnt make BG or the people that chose that option look too good. Now if the option said "I look forward to all of them equally" that would be something different, but it doesnt say that.

I'm not all that concerned about tickets. I live a ten minute walk away from the cess pool, and just plan on hanging out in the parking lots around there. Did that last time, and it was where a majority of the BG students watched the game.

the only cess pool in this state is your residence and UT campus.

thoughtless comments like the one from columbus zac deserves a comment.

I wasnt being a dick with the comment about ticket prices.. for the BG game 50 bucks is prolly what you will be able to get them for on the street
especially if you hold off till 1 hour or less before kick off

He called a rival stadium a cess pool.....how was that being a thoughtless?

because if anything in this state is a cesspool it would be BG UT or cleveland.

Look at snake man for an example.

since when was OSU and BG a rivalry? only in your jealous of the "media attention OSU gets" minds.

they play like 1 time every 6 years. This year is weird because OSU needed a spot to fill. Wow, some rivalry.

the only person at OSU games who belongs to a cesspool is the pretend preacher outside the stadium damning everyone to hell for attending a football game and drinking alcohol and actin "barbaric for a barbaric sport"

that guy needs to be tossed in a cesspool

Yawn.

"Rival" in this case pretty much refers to "opponent". And as for the "jealousy"... uh, yeah. Irritated at having OSU thrown down your throats every weekend? Possibly. But there's no jealousy.

You've made your stance on BG quite clear in the past, but after this display, please don't claim to be even a fraction of a fan ever again.
