SEBO Regressing?

Post by Dayons_Den »

Ok I thought I was imagining things last week, but now I am certain that there was a front of the wall and now there is not. I am talking about the wall that would be behind the band bleachers, if this makes any sense.

Anyone else notice this?

Did they goof up perhaps?

I take that back, you're right they knocked that wall down today because it was there when I checked it this morning. Maybe they built that wall ahead of what they needed to put behind it so they had to take it down. Oh well, it didnt take them long to put that wall up anyways.

SEBO

Post by Pete Segaard »

I believe that they are revising the SEBO. I am making a huge assumption that maybe the gift from the family of the old FMB director is being used to really jazz up the band seats. The way that it looked last week, seats would have been metal frame bleachers.

Get the idea that this Sebo center will be smaller than we all originally thought? Just a thought.

Yep. In fact, I've heard that plans are in the works to tear down everything they've done so far to the West end of the building, and replace it with a workshed from Home Depot. And the band is gonna be REALLY pissed when they find out their "band seating" has to be set up and put away every Saturday, then returned to the rental place by noon on Sunday.

</sarcasm>

The Sebo Center will be just fine. It already looks great and it's still mostly skeleton.

I am curious as to why they are tearing down the walls. Could it be that they are revising the structure a little bit? Anyone have any inside info?

Not really sure what you said there but the SEBO is going to be fine. Hell you didn't think the thing was going to be built. It must be a slow summer for you.

I really hate it when people trot out the " I guess we can't speak our minds" crap when somebody criticizes them. It's intellectually empty and it serves no purpose.

falconboy...why in the hell do you think the Sebo is going to be any smaller than it 's design? Did they chop off some of the framework? Does the footprint of the ongoing construction look any smaller? It doesn't look that way to me...

i love it when people say that because they are wrapped in a giant oxymoron as they speak their mind about not speaking their mind.

If anything, it looks like it might be *bigger* than it was before, as I don't remember the framework extending off the left edge of the camera's view before (that and there's that concrete wall that went up early as a "back corner" which is now a good 20-30 feet inside the framework.)

Was it really a permanent wall they tore down? It looked like brick from this view, but could it have been some lightweight "placeholder"? Time to dig up the "I was just stopping by and took some pics" pics from a month or so I guess, huh?
