We have posted our
2006 MAC Football Preview with previews for each team and our predictions for the upcoming season. This was one of the most difficult previews that I have had to do as several teams may have a legit shot this season, especially in the West. Anyway, please check it out.
Reminder too that we still plan to do a live Inernet broadcast from Media Day on July 31.

Just a couple questions:
1. Is Bobby Thomas really in trouble with grades? That's the first time I had heard of that. He showed some promise last year, so hopefully everything is in order.
2. Does anybody know Deaudre Perry's status? This preview says that he is done, but he is still on the roster at bgsufalcons.com.

First off that roster was from the spring it is not the offical fall roster cause the FR don't have numbers yet and i remember hearing from someone on here that said perry had left again. As far as thomas goes don't think anyone has known about that yet if it is true.

There is a 0% chance that BG will finish as low as 4th in the MAC East.

I would have said the same about us losing to both WMU and Akron last year.

It's hard to take a report like this seriously when every other name in there is misspelled.

And those names would be? Seriously, point them out and we will fix them. Thanks.

Brandon Jones is a 5th year senior and not a red shirt freshman.

There's a "Bandon" typo toward the top. Marques Parks, not Park, umm... crap, I know there was a couple more... you got Lichtensteiger right, which is impressive... ummm.. Oh, Doyt Perry was one man, no need to hyphenate his name in the stadium title.

Even without Omar?

Thanks. Really appreciate it. The most difficult part of doing this is in the editing. We will fix it today...I hate when we miss things like that.

Irrelevant. If you discount those losses last year based on having Omar get injured your statement now reads as saying, "There is 0% chance that BG will suffer key injuries."
It is never a good idea to predict things as being impossible. Things happen. Personally, I don't see where we're so good that 4th place is out of the question. This team is rebuilding, and none of us really knows what to expect from this team this year. Most of the key contributors have been backups in the past, and only time will tell whether they're ready to step up to the challenge or not.

Not a problem. I know the feeling.
Next time, though, I'm not telling where they are.

I wonder how hard Erique Dozier would hit you if you called him "Enrique" after catching a slant.
Maybe that's how "Park" lost the 's' off of his name.
