CMU predictions?

Didn't see a thread for this...so, here goes.
I see a BG offense coming out fast and furious. BG needs to take the CMU crowd out early and often. Defensively, I believe we'll be able to contain CMU. Their running game is pretty solid but their QB is still learning on the job. We need to blitz the heck out of him. Special teams could be very interesting as CMU is excellent in that area.
CMU will make some plays...but BG is definitely the more talented and better team.
Falcons 45, Potato Chips 24.

When we played last year it was kind of a slow, boring game. We had a lot of yards but could not put the ball in the endzone. I think this year we find the endzone several times. No field goals this time. BGSU 49 CMU 13

I started a BG/CMU prediction thread earlier in the week but it's been buried. I said:
BG 41
CMU 24

I think that we put this game away early, and probably give up a couple of garbage TD's. The only thing that CMU has is a good running back, and I think that we will focus on him and hopefully be able to take him a non factor.
BG 45
CMU 21

I think BG wins this one pretty easily after a tough 1st quarter. Central sounds like they have it going in the right direction for the near future, though.
BG 38
CMU 13
Bonus Pick -- I think that at least 1 of the 3 1st place teams playing on the road this week (UT, NIU, and Marshall) will lose.

I am cautiously optimistic about this one. I think CMU needed a few games under their belt to get comfortable with Kelley's system. I see this being similar to the last time we played there. We are up 10-14 through out the game, but the defense doesn't get enough stops for us to completely put it away until late in the fourth quarter.

As posted in my recent column ...
BG 45, CMU 13
Omar notches another 300-yard game; Pope runs for another 100.
Defense racks up three more sacks and at least one turnover.
Falcon special teams are sterling, the line sealing off all penetration while Suisham and Fry pin the Chips deep all day long.

BG: 35
CMU: 24
BG has problems with their running game, but CMU's improved D (albeit slight) can't get enough stops on the Falcons.

CMU - Scores some points
BG - Scores more points than CMU
Now that is a prediction you can't go wrong with

initial thought was 57-13 BG... but its going to have to get better than the three and out they threw up on that first possession...
of course, i thought we'd crush 'em at Homecoming last year and EVERYTHING stalled out except the defense.

BG 38

If only Central's kicker would have missed an extra point, I would have been right on.
