Big Ben doing a commercial

Post by FindlayFalcon »

I just saw Big Ben on a Campbell's Chunky Turkey Soup commercial. Supposedly this is for the "all rookie team" of Campbell's soup.

Big Ben was the man in college, and I hope he does well in the NFL. I hated losing to Miami twice last season, but that was a darn good football team and I thought they were a pretty classy team. With Big Ben, Pennington and Leftwich, the former MAC QBs are looking pretty good on Sundays.

agreed. That Mu team was studly. Top 5 in the nation IMO. Most teams would get spanked twice by them if they played them twice. They were the Best team in state last year, followed by us, then the buckeyes. Miami really got hosed in th bowl season. They deserved a lot better.

He should stop shooting commercials and start getting ready for Sunday. He's gonna have his hands full when Cleveland shuts down that running game! :)

And Staley has an infected toe (ick  ) and might not play. So the Browns might get a big helping of the Bus on Sunday. Given his incredible 0.167 yards per carry this season, Ben might have to do a lot of throwing, since the Bus appears to be running on three flat tires and a bad tranny.

He does have 5 TDs though ;)

So far the Browns have done a pretty good job against running teams (BAL & WAS), but struggled when Warner & Vinny threw the ball on them. Even still the defense looks pretty good. I really think Ben will have a tough time if they aren't running the ball well. Against Cincy they could run the ball at will. They fell behind when they got cute and started trying to throw more often, then they started pounding it again and won the game.

Should be your typical hard-nosed Pittsburgh-Cleveland matchup. Sure would be nice to see the offense wake up a little bit. The defense has been playing pretty darn well, let's hope that having Suggs back kickstarts this offense!
