Anyone know how many tickets BG has sold for the Wisconsin game?

Well, Atleast 3, because that how many i bought. Hopefully though, BG has sold more than Wisconsin. Does wisconsin have an allotment as to how many tickets they are allowed to sell since this is a home game for BG? It would be really embarrassing if they outdrew us

They probably were given a block to sell, but I'd highly doubt if there was a limit on what they could sell. Even though it's a home game for BG, and some amenities have likely been set up to give BG any edge it can grab (i.e., student section in the Dawg Pound), tickets are probably being sold as if it were a bowl game.

Tickets are available first-come, first-serve on Ticketmaster.

The UW ATO has some available, but most Badger fans are going through Ticketmaster (the ATO has a reputation for suckiness, and any chance to boycott them is a good thing--we also don't exactly need to prove our road trip presence to Bowl organizers).

Guess you haven't been to many football games eh? I understand you live in NC, and I know Wake, Duke, and unc are all really lame, and NC state isn't much better, but they had a much better atmosphere when I was at Carter Finley (I'm sure its gotten worse since Rivers left). If you live in Charlotte, you need to get down to a Clemson game... I was very dissapointed in Wisky. I heard all this talk about how loud they were, and see them in the toughest places to play on NCAA, then I get there and they don't fill their stadium till the second quarter, then half their students left after Jump Around. It wasn't loud at all. Everyone around me was telling us to sit down...WTF?

ya everyone around us was getting mad because they kept telling us to sit down. I was the one getting thrown in the air after every touchdown in the first row by the way. The stadium got really quiet after they told us to sit down. And the second half wasnt that exciting because all Wisky did was run for 8 yards a pop.

O and I've been to Clemson, nice town nice campus, but i thought the atmosphere in madison was better. I went to baseball camp in clemson when i was 12.

In another thread, someone is suggesting 40,000 tickets have already been sold (or distributed). I think they got that from the WKYC-TV 3 report.

Could that possibly be true?

I got a post card last week alerting to the time change and saying "good seats still available." I have no idea where sales might be.

I sure hope we can get 30,000 people there.

If you think Clemson is a better atmosphere for college football than Madison....

-expletive, expletive, expletive. How many Clemson fans can actually read their own ticket stubs?

I guess you really don't get out much.

i guess you really don't get out of wisconsin much since you seem to still believe all the stereotypes about the south. hell, even people in ohio have southern accients, that was hillarious to me when i first got to bg.
