Hopefully he can latch on somewhere else.

Oh, that sux!!! I really thought The Sandman would get a better look in Cleveland that he did. They've only been on the practice field for a few days!!! :x He's got the physical tools to earn a spot somewhere.

"On draft day, Wilson proclaimed himself the best wide receiver in the 2006 class."

Nice to see he isn't a "me" guy without an ego.

Best of luck, Steve. Keep your head up and hopefully there will be an opportunity for ya real soon!

Just bad timing, Sanders apparently had a hamstring injury which likely hurt his chances of getting a good look from Brown's coaches. Then the Travis Wilson signing on top of the injury left him on the outside looking in at Brown's camp.

Just making an NFL training camp is a huge accomplishment. I hope he gets another shot.

I couldnt' believe it when I read that Sanders got cut. I heard him say once that being from the Cleveland area he grew up watching the Browns and dreamed of playing for them someday. Anytime you have someone from the area playing for the Browns the fans absolute love it. That is part of the reason why they all like Charlie Fry so much, growing up in Willard and playing at Akron.

Well, it certainly isn't because of his throwing finesse...

**ducking**

It really sounds like this was just a set of poor circumstances for Steve. Who knows, if he finds a couple of breaks he may end up in another camp this year?

I said to my father last night that of any reciever that has come through BG in the past four years of so, the only one that I have ever truly felt was an NFL-prototype was Steve, and I still believe that. Go get 'em Sandman!
