Invitation to CMU game.......Sunny and 70 degrees!

Post by CMUfan »

I would personally like to invite all members of this board to Mt. Pleasant on Saturday. The weather is going to be great and you will see some exciting football as BGSU has a fun team to watch. We are excited to see your offense as ours is basically the same scheme but we are a few years behind your experience and talent level.

We have one of the most exciting running backs in the country to watch. If you liked Barry Sanders, you'll klike this kid too! He's only 5'6 after he gets off the stretching rack. He will run all over the field in all directions to find daylight. Tell your defensive linemen not to have too wide a base as he is likely to go btween their legs (no jive)!

Mt. Pleasant is only a 3 hr drive or so and we'd love to see a large BGSU fan turnout! Good luck to BGSU and we hope to see you there!

Yes, we need the attendance!

I have fond memories of Mt. Pleasant, but none of them have to do with sports. My ex g/f lived in Midland, and we used to go to Mt. Pleasant all the time (the casino there is cool).

I suppose that was a bit off topic :-\

CMUfan:

Must be exciting times with a new, high-energy coach with a fun-to-watch scheme. Glad the weather will be good for the game, should make it a lot more interesting and enjoyable!

One favor please......

For those of you coming to the game tomorrow, please make sure they count you when you enter. We've hired a group of idiots to do our official counting! Should be a great day and a great game.

CMU is a much different team with our new coach and we now have a decent defense (no longer just speed bumps)!

Thanks for making the trip!!!!

I wish I could be there. It's weird not being able to turn on the TV and watch BG with all of those nationally televised games we had last year. I got spoiled.
GO BG!!!

CMUFAN, I liked mt. pleasant when I went there the last time BG played at Kelley Shorts Stadium. When I was there I saw an awesome tailgate and rowdy good natured fans. All in all it's a great college football atmosphere. Hopefully your new coach helps turn the program around and attendance rebounds. Beat Toledo.
