Players not listed that were in the Spring Prospectus: Ks Derek Dombrowski, Nick Goss and Paul Belany, DBs Josh Schwind and Travis Moody, LB Jarod Wells, OL Anthony Parkinson, and WR William Callier and of course RB Bobby Thomas. All of these guys were listed in the Spring Prospectus as beign red shirt freshman this fall, except for Well, he would have been a rs soph.
Depth Chart notes:
Winovich is listed as the third TE and Boomer is off the three deep.
Fink has moved ahead of Kent at #2 LT
Steffy moved from LG to RG, and Watson has moved from RG to LG and both are still listed as #2
Ruiz and Parks have switched at the Z and X WR.
No #3 QB is listed, but Glaud was given the same number as former #3 Hunter, if you want to read something into that.
Bullock is #2 RB, Winovich #3
At DE, Thomas James switched sides and moved up from #3 to #2. Frericks moved down from #2 to #3 and Schaeffer switched sides but is still #3.
Minturn switched from #2 DT to #2 NG. Mack moved down from #2 NG to #3.
Ream (all 235 lbs of him (that was for Falconboy

)) moved up to #2 DT.
At LB, Jakubowski switched from #2 Sam to #2 Will. Baker moves up to #2 Sam and Myles up to #3. Goodwin was #2 Will and is now not listed. At Mike, Haneline is up from #2 to #1, Lawrence up from #3 to #2 and Basler slipped from #1 to #3.
Sanderson has moved from #2 CB behind Lewis to #1 FS. True Freshman Brown now listed as #2 CB behind Lewis.
Rojas and Big Bird are both #1 kickers now.

Officially done. Brandon said something like "he has a medical condition he just couldn't overcome." Sad.

I hate to get ahead of myself by a couple years, but does anybody else think the defensive backfield of Smith, Lewis, Sanderson, Brown, and Mahone is going to be really good in a couple years?
The switches at MLB was the thing that really stuck out to me.

I hate to play I told ya so but I told everyone after the spring game that Perry was done and nobody believed me. As for our Db's, I think they're going to be sweet, also I would look for Jamal Brown to be switched to safety either this or next year for 2 reasons, the boy can flat out hit(reminds me of tj carswell as far as being physical), and 2, he's to good of athlete to be sittin on the bench for 3 years waitin for lewis and wright to graduate.

No need to be hyperbolic, mm02. Anyone who follows the Falcons closely knew that Perry was, at best, questionable.

Along those lines, I wanted to point out how young our defense is. There are 28 players listed on the depth chart. Here is the breakdown: 5 Seniors (3 starters), 2 Jrs (1 starter), 9 Sophs (6 starters), and 11 Frosh (1 starter). Hopefully these guys pan out and we will have a great defense the next two-three years.
Here is the offensive depth breakdown: 5 Srs (3 starters), 9 Jrs (5 starters), 6 sophs, (3 starters), 9 frosh (0 starters)
And one correction to my original post. At RG, it is actually Markray
OR Steffy at #1.

moneymaker....I still don't believe you, Perry's coming back....I know he is. And he's bringing the phrase "Who let the dogs out" with him.

Losing Dre really hurts our defensive backfield. I think we have some good young players back there but I still havent seen what we've done to replace Keon Newson! Also hope someone emerges as a star at linebacker because we've recently had at least one with Mitch Hewitt, Jovon Burkes, and good ole Teddy P.

WH,
In the spring, Pat Watson was listed as pushing Markray at RG. Now he is at LG pushing John Lanning. Watson is determined to get on the field and I love his desire.
Basler has really slipped at LB. He was 1st on the spring depth chart and is now #3? Haneline must have worked his azz off to move up and hopefully he will be just as good as his brother. I have to say it's cool to see Lawrence move up....after making the mistakes he did, it looks like he is making the most of his 2nd chance.
I also remember someone here saying Sanderson was gonna make an immediate impact and that appears to be true. I think our secondary, despite the loss of Perry, is gonna be very solid for the next couple years. It sux that Perry is gone for good

but it gives other players a chance to show what they can do. Perry was here and then gone...back and gone...and back and gone for good. I wish it would have worked out for him.
Damn I need that guide. LOL

That isn't necessary...and isn't true, either.

Could you have done better than Teddy P? He may not have been a Khary Campbell, Kevin O'Neill, Vinny Palko, Mitch Hewitt or Jovon Burkes but he was still a good player. He averaged 80 tackles a year from 2003-5.

I was thinking last year how sick Kenny Lewis and Antonio Smith were gonna be in a few years

Isn't Antonio Smith the guy who laid out John Stucco in last year's opener?
It seemed like every game he got me out of my seat for some reason. Once in a while, he just blows up people.
