Don't you live in BG? Go to the practices. They're free and give us reports.

I don't actually live in BG but about 7 miles NW by the river on rte. 65. I figure ther'e people closer to the stadium that have a chance to check em out. If I happen to be around BG when they practice I may to try and check it out.

I don't remember even seeing a practice schedule on bgsufalcons.com at all. Has anyone else seen it?

I talked with Corey but didn't get a lot of information from him.

He mentioned that the new freshman wide receivers are very good and will definately see the field this year.

He also stated that Freddie Barnes is looking good.

They have a 120 play scrimmage today starting around 3:30pm, if anyone wanted to stop by. I guess they will go until 6:00pm.

That's about it.

HaHa, thats funny that a players own dad cant get information about how things are going. I like it when the team tries to keep things in house like that.

Nothing wrong with that. Corey and I generally don't talk too indepth about what is going on. My main concern is always his health and how he is feeling. I don't want to ask too many questions about things. Just how things are going and how does this player or that player look. Corey doesn't volunteer alot and some of it I really can't mention on a forum like this. Certain things need to stay in house.

I let everyone know what I can. Great fans like these deserve as much info as I can give. I share what I can.

So, is anyone going out for the scrimmage today?

which is why i said i liked that, and your heart is in the right place as a parent always looking out for his health instead of his carreer like a crazy stage mom, lol

I've heard from a source close to the action that "the freshmen kickers are f*cking amazing"....

Okay, that was probably paraphrased a bit, but it was the tone I got from it... :-D I can't wait to see what Bird and Alonso's feet bring to the table this fall.

I drool at the thought of having a viable all-around ST unit this year. I drool even more at the thought of having a top-10 kicker/punter combo within a year or two. I hope these two kids are as good as we've heard.

now these are a lot of positives that i like to hear. All I am hearing is that this team is too young and we are rebuilding this year. Even if we are rebuilding, the MAC east is weak enough that we can win the east and maybe surprise NIU or UT in teh MAC title game. It can and i think will happen! GO FALCONS! 24 days until we rock the dawgpound!!!!

Spart43,

Are you 100% sure that there is a scimmage starting at 3:30 today? Because I have nothing going on tonight, and I live 30 minutes away, so I'm just making sure before I leave.

Thanks.

I talked with Corey on Tuesday night and that is what he said. Believe me, he has been wrong in the past. So take it with a grain of salt. I know they will at least be out there practicing, Corey said scrimmage, that's all I know.

Even if you just see practice it would still be worth the drive.
