No problem, you should have just gone ahead and created it. But thanks for letting me get to it.

Well, I was playing around a little the other day. Since I made the NCAA covers I thought I would try and whip something new up. I want to come up with my own design for a Falcon Football Card, because I was concerned about copyright issues with this one. I would like to find pictures of a lot of different players and do a series. I like the old school look for football cards, so I will head that direction. I will turn my wife loose on it, she is an awesome graphic artist.
Looks like I am enjoying my Photoshop. Corey overload...

Well, if your wife would like to help us spruce up the Falcon Store website with some graphics once it is up and running let me know. We could probably barter some BGSU merchandise in return. I'd certainly like to give you Falcons the opportunity to help give it the look/feel that you want.

She is not a computer graphic artist but a hard copy layout specialist. She can design and draw anything. Then I have to transfer it to electronic media. Which isn't that hard really, but she doesn't think in terms of web pages, she thinks more in terms of brochures, pamplets and newsletters. She would be awesome designing a football card. When I did the website for Corey's high school team she always had some great suggestions on color mix, lines, frames and object layout. I can ask her to take a look and see if she has any suggestions. But she is definately old school.

Talked with Corey last night. He said Brantley is fully recovered and practicing at 100%.

Nice card Spart!
I love that idea. I did something similar earlier this season for the baseball team I work for. I love the retro-card look.

That's really cool Dayon. I have been looking thru all my old football cards to try and find a good starting point. I would like to do a small series of some of our higher profile players. Corey, AT, Macon, Smith, Parks & Parks, Ruiz and some of the linemen on both sides.
The real problem I am having is getting good pictures of the current players. I have good ones of AT and Corey and thats about it.
Anyone got some good pics?
Here is the one I made of AT, I have problems with proportions on the picture so he is bigger in the card than Corey. No big deal.
