It tis the way of things. He'll do OK, so long as he doesn't finish behind SC.

No doubt. Gator nation will be up in arms if that happens. UF expects a national title within a couple years. They are paying Urbie the big bucks to deliver. He is a great coach...

I've posted this on the other forum, but I'm curious about Florida's offensive line situation.

Meyer had some rather bad things to say about their running game. He may be been sarcastic, but he said he would consider not fielding a running back if it doesn't improve.

Losing 2 starting O-linemen in the past week doesn't help. Maybe he has some aces up his sleeve.

Go Falcons!

That ad played at the movie theatre when I went to see "You, Me, and Dupree"

2 thumbs up for the movie - Owen Wilson was hilarious.

Almost wanted to puke when I saw Mrs. Meyer's husband. I didn't pay $8 to see Mr. Two-and-out-the-door.

Personally I want to puke everytime I go to the theater. I didn't pay $8 to see an advertisement PERIOD, regardless of who's in it. I don't mind previews, they fit. But when did it become commonplace to show 10 commercials for cars, softdrinks, or credit cards before every film?

Are they really hurting that much that we cannot even go to the movie theater without sitting through commercials? I much prefer the subliminal messages telling me I want a popcorn & a coke than sitting through 10 minutes of commericals for every movie.

Urbie said they did almost two days of filming and he was in the final cut for a couple seconds.

http://www.gainesville.com/apps/pbcs.dl ... 070/sports

The producer told him he'd be in for at least a minute, and anyone who knows him would realize that. Articles were even written about how committed the producer was to Urban days before the final edit. He said if Urban showed he was completely committed to the commercial, they'd have to pry him out of the shoot with a crowbar. And then Don Shula came along...

The producer said he would give him the inside word on kickers and wide receivers around the area to make up for the deception.

No doubt, hammb. I want to see the movie. Even the previews seem to drag out way too long. I get sick of seeing 692 previews before the feature event.
