is scary out there on OSU boards. It feels like a bunch of nazis following Hitler. "Everything in the OSU world is right and good and perfect...." They don't disagree...It is creepy. I went on this board...http://www.buckeyeplanet.com/forum/newreply.php

I posted about 20 messages under the name Ted GinnTD. I did not bash OSU. I disagreed with posters. I said the following.

1. Ted Ginn was is not as good of a receiver as Anthony Gonzalez. Gonzales has great hands and snatches the ball. Ginn does not.
2. OSU was uniformally, overated this year. They only have 9 starters returning. I think they will only go 8-5.
3. I started a post that said this "Trivia question"....Has a team ever won more games than the number of returning starters it has? ...That post was deleted.
4. They listed their rankings on CFN and they mentioned the STs and how they were ranked 5th and should be higher. I said you lost both kickers. Someone said that they did not lose their punter. I said that i was confused because I thought the punter last year was Turano who transferred from BG. A few people jumped on me and said they never had a punter transfer from BG. I told them that their statement was innacurate and that Turano was at BG as a kicker and did not make it. He then went to OSU to punt.

I swear that this is exactly what I posted...nothing more nothing less.

I was kicked off the board in a half hour. Banned for 3 days. No lie.

It makes me appreciate Grant, this board, all you guys and even Tankini.

We welcome the mess. And fire back. It is creepy how some of them think. It makes me think of the KKK or something.

They're a fun bunch, no? The majority of OSU fans I know fit that description. Say anything questionable about the Buck$ and it's like committing treason.

Seriously though, I've said it again and again, with VERY few exceptions over the past few years, this board is populated by the best bunch of people on the 'Net! Discussion is almost always intelligent; dissention, while not welcomed, is accepted and argued; and it's just kind of the way it's SUPPOSED to be here... thanks for that affirmation!

Just being accurate.

OSU may have unwittingly been infiltrated and subjugated by.... the LUDDITES.

Such a theory reliably predicts buckeye behaviour, and observation of same is demonstrably borne out by your prematurely terminated experiment, which in itself underlines an extreme pathological affliction.

The condition is evidently pervasive. Even those of my immediate family with buckeye backgrounds exhibit distinctly outrageous behavioural patterns consistent with the theory.

I root for the Buckeyes & I have many friends/family that are Buckeyes fans.

I cannot stand to discuss Buckeye football with hardly any of them. They're delusional to the max when it comes to that subject.

The Buckeyes are so rediculous that even on other school's boards we're forced to discuss them all the time...

Yeah, it is a little ridiculous that one of your posters would feel compelled to insist that you guys keep up to speed on Buckeye fandom.

I haven't been around this board in about a year, but I think if you find any of my posts you'll see that I'm not here to flame.

I was merely hinting at the fact that while I am still a buckeye fan, if I really wanted to hear about them I would watch some espn. However, I would rather come onto our BG board and talk about BG sports instead because I can only stand to hear the same things about the same schools and teams so many times before I start to twitch.

Why is it so bad that other schools are discussed? I post on several boards of several teams and all of them discuss other schools to a point.

It's not like there's all kinds of OSU stuff on here. It seems like a few people on here have a case of small-man's syndrome. I know there were a few Wisky fans who felt that way last year.

Some of you act like you can only root for one team, only discuss one team, etc. If not, you're not a true Falcon, blah blah blah.

Anytime another school comes up (usually OSU), it starts a big pissing match. It gets old. I don't care if you love OSU or hate OSU, why can't everyone be a little more mature about it.

Why do people take this stuff so seriously? Does anyone really care if I call Ted Ginn a talentless hack? Would it matter one iota in your daily existance if I were to say that Jim Tressel is a homo?
