Particulary Central Mich and Toledo...BC is a 13.5 point fav against CMU, thoughts on that? I was about to put down money on BC, but wanted to get some opinions from people who may have seen them more than me...Also, Toledo is a 7.5 point dog to eventual BIG 12 North champ Iowa State...I like Meyer a lot...what do you guys think?

As a UT fan I have mixed emotions about the UT/ISU spread. My heart says we will cover and hopefully win the game. However, I am worried that we might lose by a couple of TD's or worse.

I wouldn't touch Toledo in a non-league road game against a BCS school, especially with a new QB. They don't have a stellar history in those situations under Amstutz (Kansas, Minnesota, Fresno, etc.).

I've passed on the CMU game, but teased Kent State (-22.5 against Minnesota) and Iowa State (-1.5 now)...these teasers play with your mind

Iowa and Toledo are both realilsticly stronger than many are seeing. In part because the top teams are realy strong this year.
Toledo covers the spread though in this game.

It may take Toledo some time to get rolling with the people they lost. Their strength is finishing strong anyway.

Anyone notice the Penn State/Akron spread has dropped from 23 to 16 1/2?

Looking over the point spreads for the first week, the MAC teams are dogs but not by the 25-30 pt spreads of the past. NIU is now an 18 pt dog (down from 20) to OSU. Miami and NW were a pick 'em and now I think Miami is getting 3. Indiana is a td over WMU...I think I'd lay $$$ on WMU to win that game. UT? 98 Grad brings up a good point about the Rockets in OOC games but I still think they can beat Iowa St.

BG is currently a 9 1/2 dog.

5 freakin days...that's all, baby.

GO FALCONS!! BEAT WISKY!!

Or under any other coach in recent memory. :(
