The Bears cut four players and have two more cuts to make to get down to the 75 man limit tomorrow. Most things I have read have PJ with a decent shot of making the 53 man roster. Adrian Peterson the #3 back didn't practice yesterday with an injury. Peterson was horrible at picking up the blitz and got his quarteback sacked on a couple of occasions this week. PJ did a nice job of blocking on pass plays.

The Jaguars made three cuts today...two of which were recievers NOT named Charles Sharon. Veteran Troy Edwards was one of the receivers released. Jags have 6 more cuts to make before tomorrow. Hold on Chuck!

And at the risk of being a Rex lover or hater, anybody that thinks that Griese should get the nod and win the job better also be in the Pope-for-third-running-back camp. Because if we don't care that he is going against the second and third teams, then it is pretty obvious that P.J. Pope is a better running back then Adrian Peterson. Of course, I am not sure if that is correct, but he definitely has looked better than Peterson in preseason. By the way, anyone else catch Peterson missing that block and almost ending the quarterback controversy and Rex Grossman's season again? I am surprised he got up from that. Adrian is pretty happy he is a good special teams player right about now
