I've been to Wisconsin-I love it, great school. Reminds me of UT. But I'll be pulling for the Falcons in this one. Good Luck!

I'm a BG fan first, MAC fan second.

GO ROCKETS!

Steelers, Yankees, Pistons, Rockets, and Redhawks. What do they all have in common? They are all teams that you will NEVER see me rooting for under any circumstances.

1.) I will root for the MAC in 99% of circumstances.

2.) Iowa State has a fond place in my heart, Toledo doesn't

3.) If slUT wins, it is a MAC > Big 12 victory. IF ISU wins, it is Toledo losing. It's win/win for me personally.

Go Cyclones!

UT, TU or whatever they call themselves is in direct competition with BG for recruits, coverage and possible bowl bids. Anything that benefits them hurts BG.

The whole "Well, a strong MAC benefits BG, too" argument is too theoretical and requires a convoluted string of scenarios and assumptions I'm not ready to concede, especially when it requires Toledo winning games to come to fruition.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Go Iowa State!

Ames is a hole. Go Hawkeyes, and I hope Iowa State loses this game (choice my wording so as not to be a positive for the mini-michigans).

Does anyone know what station in Toledo it'll be on? I think it was WSPD last year, but I'm not too sure.

Go Rockets...anything to make the MAC look good is what I root for.

EDIT: The Blade says 1370, so I was right, lol.

Sirius gives you the option of not having to listen to Mark Beier, too. Channel 155.

God I love Sirius! :-D

Today I went to Sam's club to purchase tailgating supplies for this weekend. There were a couple UT students running the cashier, and of course gave me a bit of flak for wearing my BG sure. Of course I replied by mentioning they were the only real team I knew of around Toledo. (This was up by airport highway). I wished them luck on tonight's game, and they hope we win against Wisconsin. Anything that can help the MAC stand out is a good thing!

My wife just got me a Sirius but its not set up yet. She thought I would be able to get all the Rocket games. I'm guessing they only do select games. Is there a schedule somewhere? I mean this thinng isn't even out of the box yet or I'd probably know but you having gone to BG and all are probably knowledgeable about all things so I figure you can help. :-D

I'm a huge BG fan, but I think it is important for us to root for the MAC in OOC games. Think about the NIU game in 03 when we had gameday crew. If NIU wasnt pulling all off those big wins we would have never gotten the crew. Also it was a lot bigger victory for us because of their great undefeated record. No way no how am I going to hope that UT goes 0-4 in OOC games, because it doesnt help BG. What would help BG is if UT went 4-0 in OOC games and then got blown out by us when we play them! That is my theory and I'm stickin to it!

Well, not ALL things... I still don't know the street value of a gram of crack, but that's why we keep UT grads around.

It looks like the MAC is only on Sirius if they're an opponent of a school "on the network", which stinks. I was hoping they'd change that for this year. (Basketball may be different, it seems like there was a wider variety of conferences for hoops, but it might just be because there are more conferences.)

Anyway, here's the schedule for the next couple months of football:
