The praises of Omar...

The praises of Sharon...

Undrafted rookie wide receiver Charles Sharon was one of the surprise stars of the night. Sharon caught two touchdown passes and put himself in good stead heading into Saturday's final cuts. Rosters must be reduced to 53 by six p.m.

“Good, solid, young kid who is developing,” Del Rio said of Sharon.

PJ Pope speculation on BearScout.com

The Bears are believed to be interested in adding running back P.J. Pope, cornerback Carlos Hendricks and tight end Cooper Wallace to the practice squad if they clear waivers. Offensive tackle Mark LeVoir is also an option if he is cut.

I have a feeling Pope will be more than just on the PS, I think he has a spot on the special teams or even a 3rd down blocking back, those are hard to come by nowadays.

Chuck last night was electric, I really hope he showed something to the Jags so they keep him, he'd be a good fit in that offense.

Omar's game last night most likely made the Steelers take a longer look at him. Giving up young, developing QB's is something that NFL teams hate doing, so it'll be interesting to see how Pittsburgh handles this situation. Boyd is all but gone, so Omar's the #3 man if they keep him.

After last night's performance, I think it's safe to say that Omar will be on somebody's 53-man roster when the season starts.

No way he makes it through waivers after that performance. I think he made the team last night.

This is awesome all the way around.

The kicking situation in Dallas is interesting as well.

I have a strong feeling that Pope will be on someone's 53.

Pope will not be on the 53-man roster, of that you can be sure. Peterson, Benson and Jones are the backs for the Bears.

I love to see Sharon doing well. Two TDs? Great!

The point being made around the rumor chains is that the Bears are not confident in Jones and Benson's ablitity to stay healthy. Because of that, the Bears might keep 4 RB on their roster.

Bears are also talking about carrying only one fullback. That would open another "backfield" spot.
