Woody Paige comment on Cold Pizza

Just wondering if anyone saw the recent Cold Pizza on Friday afternoon. Woody Paige was talking about all the so called powerhouse schools opening up with, as he put it , all these smaller, weaker schools. Right away he mentioned Wisconsin playing Bowling Green, and when he said Bowling Green he said it in the most smugg, sarcastic voice he could have possibly used. Skip Bayless was actually trying to defend BG but of course he was cut off by the host who right away went to another topic. After all the success BG and the rest of the MAC have had in the last five or six years will they ever get the respect they deserve?????? GO BG!!!!!!!!!!

Woody probably said that to spite Jay Crawford, BGSU grad. That show sucks anyway.

Understanding it was a rhetorical question, I would answer no--we will never really get the respect we deserve. We should stop worrying about what other people think.

Right.
Woddy Paige has carved a niche for himself as the clown of televised sports talk. Few true fans take what he says seriously anymore, particularly when he tries to big-time schools he knows absolutely nothing about.
I'd almost take criticism from him as a badge of honor.

Well on PTI, they rightfully claimed the CMU trick play as "the worst and dumbest play they had ever seen" and the commentator with the Ball St. jersey on said, "the AD needs to talk with the head coach, and if that play is still in his playbook after that, then he needs to be fired, especially with such a GREAT opportunity to beat a big time ACC opponent on MAC turf!"

Huge MAC supporter here, but in all honesty, in this "here and now" society, I watched a MAC team (coach) shoot itself in the foot multiple times last night at home against BC, culminating with a trick play that had no trick with it. It was terrible. Hopefully I will see tomorrow, not only in Cleveland, but in Columbus, State College and Bloomington. But yea, Paige is nuts anyways.

I was wondering if I was the only one that caught that! This just goes to show that the professionals don't always do they're homework.

Maybe my memory is fuzzy, but wasn't that just White rolling out to his right and tossing a TD to Hankins? How was it a trick play?
Maybe you're thinking of the TD in the 1st half when Leroy Smith threw the halfback pass back to White?

maybe you should just accept it because the majority of the nations opinion of mid majors will never change. Want to know why? look a the slaughtering of Kent, and Miami on thursday.
yea UT won against a weak B12 opponent. the iowa states, indiana, dukes, vanderbilts of the world might as well be mid majors in football.

Facts don't seem to be too important to our buckeye friend and fellow troll.

But I'll take the win. I feel sooooo much better now.

Why should I check my facts? Kent and Miami got handled. that is factual.
Iowa state is weak. What have they ever done in the big 12? They play on the weak side of the big 12 conference and they can not make it to the Championship game. Please tell me, what is so great about ISU?
That they compete with Kansas and Missouri to get to the conference championship to face Texas? Kansas and missouri is about the talent level they face in the B12 north. Should be easy to run through yet they fail every year.
I believe my statement was dead on. ISU, Kansas, Mizzou, duke, vandy indiana should all be mid majors in football. They are no good.
