We would like to announce our new podcast, "Rolling Along..." a joint venture between Ay-Ziggy-Zoomba.com and BGSUSports.com!

Tony (TG1996) and I created our first episode w/ Maureen Fulton from the Toledo Blade as our first guest yesterday. It's about a half-hour long, has some rough edges, but some pretty decent content we believe!

Starting out, we hope to do this every couple of weeks, or maybe more frequently as time/schedules dictate.

We welcome listener feedback, either here or via our email address, [email protected]

Right up front I want to apologize for the background noise in our interview with Maureen... who knew coffee shops were so noisy???

In order to subscribe to the podcast, point your podcatcher to http://www.ay-ziggy-zoomba.com/podcast/ ... _along.xml

If you use iTunes, you can subscribe by clicking on the "Advanced" menu, choosing "Subscribe to Podcast" and then pasting the above URL into the box. If you use other software, I'm sure the process is similar. And within a day or two you should be able to search the iTunes music store and find the "Rolling Along..." podcast there.

If you want to listen but don't have "podcatching" software, you may access the MP3 file directly by clicking on this link: http://www.ay-ziggy-zoomba.com/podcast/ ... long_1.mp3 (however, subscribing using podcatching software automatically gets you the latest episode when it's released w/o you having to put forth any effort... which is always nice. ;-)

(A warning to dial-up users, the podcast is a 33MB file, so it could take up the rest of your day if you try to access it.)

Great timing. My Windows crapped out last night and I had to re-install. :x Don't know what the problem is, but now I can't access apple to download the ipod software. Am really getting p.o. about this. Can access most websites but apple and espn are two that won't load. And the auto-login isn't working on some sites. It keeps me logged in to My Yahoo, but for azz, it stores my ID and password, but I have to hit 'login' each time I visited. Any body have any technical support for me so I can download the podcast?

The fumble call was not a bad call, they were right to overturn it in our favor. Also Brandon wasnt yelling at the refs for the "bad call" on the personal foul on our OL. It was a good call which you said, but Brandon was yelling at our lineman that made the penalty. You can clearly read his lips and he says "HEY, THATS YOU, THINK!!!" (and he points to his brain) and then they show Huelsman hanging his head and looking upset with himself!

What a terrific production! Grant and Tony, you've found your vocations, Maureen, well, I'd marry her, and last, where can I buy the soundtrack?

Thanks! :-D

Though I have to say I had nothing to do with the pretty purple background on the iTunes page. In fact, we're going to have an executive discussion about that...

Listened on my way to work this AM. Great start guys! I think it will be a great thing for Falcon fans. Content was fantastic. I think if you work out some of the sound issues you will be on your way. Thanks for taking the time to do it.

Thanks and you're welcome! :D It was fun, helped in great part by the "scenery" around BGSU Monday afternoon!

As far as "sound issues", I think we learned that coffee shops are bad ideas for this type of recording. Who knew they could be so loud?

And the sound engineer has learned to fade out the bumper music a little faster in the future... ;-)

Just curious how many people will actually listen to it?

We're planning on making future episodes a little more "digestable..." maybe 15 minutes instead of a half-hour. Maybe even have short 3 - 5 minute updates if an idea pops into one of our heads that needs to get out! (like I thought of going to practice yesterday as I was leaving the Rec and just doing some live commentary....)

If you subscribe to it via the RSS feed or iTunes those will come down automatically to you.

Well, you guys can count me as one of those that already subscribes to the podcast. You can make them any length and I will still listen. The more BG info/talk made available, the better.

Doesn't iTunes inform you as to how many subscribers you have?

Not sure about that. I think we were just curious to see how many iPod-less folks grabbed the mp3, too.

I have no access to those numbers. I'm just a pawn in game of life. :-D

I have an iPod, and I still downloaded the MP3 to listen here at work the other day, no iTunes on the work PC.
