BG a 24.5 point favorite.

That's reasonable -- but I wonder if the dog is the smart play. It's that half point that's hanging me up.

31-7... 38-14... 41-17... Ball State beats the spread in those scenarios.

How good is the Cardinal offense?

I had their game vs. EMU on at work the other day, but got busy and didn't watch it as close as I had hoped. Then again, it was EMU, too, so I don't know how fair of a comparison that would be.

As I said in another thread somewhere, I'd expect BG to win this game by at least 30, but I thought that about CMU at Homecoming last year, too, and the offense got afraid of the red zone.

If I were a betting man, I'd run like hell from that line.

well, thier pass D is worse that toledos. that is enough for us to put up big scores. They got decent pressure on Brucie in the glass bowl if I remember correctly, but nothing too impressive. Their offence was not great either. And for the lack of points against a "solid" toleod D, id say we cover no sweat.

Give the points. I think this one gets ugly early on. It's Homecoming. We haven't played at home in five weeks. These guys will be ready to show the home crowd just how good they are. I looking for it to end like 62-14.

I'll take a win, I'd love to crack 70 again. But let's not get greedy. We need a win, every week, and nothing more.

BG is now a 27 point fave. Looks like folks are betting heavy on BG at the Doyt...and rightfully so.
